Balance Point
Length of tubing within the wellbore where generates a tubing weight equal to the well pressure acting against the cross-sectional area of the tube. Note that this is a static condition with the tubing full of fluid and does not include frictional forces of the stripper assembly and/or tubing rams, if engaged.
