Propane
A hydrocarbon, small quantities of which are found in natural gas, consisting of three carbon atoms and eight hydrogen atoms. a gas under normal conditions. Used as automotive fuel and for cooking and heating purposes. At atmospheric pressure, propane liquefies at -42°C. See also: LPG.
